INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Michael Fletcher and Alex Diab wrapped up the first day of competition at the annual USA Gymnastics Winter Cup in Indianapolis.
Michael Fletcher placed 12th overall in the all-around competition with a score of 77.900, performing best on vault and parallel bars. Fletcher tied for fifth on vault with a season-high 14.300, and placed sixth on parallel bars with a season-high 13.650.
Alex Diab impressed yet again on rings at the Winter Cup, matching is winning score on rings from last year's competition with a 14.850. Diab moves onto the finals of rings on Sunday, trying for his second straight rings title at the Winter Cup.
