URBANA, Ill. – The Illinois women's tennis team will play in their first B1G home matches of the year this weekend. They will play host to Wisconsin on Friday, February 26 at 4:00 p.m. CT and then face off against Minnesota on Sunday, February 28 at 11:00 a.m. CT. Matches will be streamed, and live stats will be available both days.

LAST TIME OUT

On Sunday the Illini put up a strong fight against No. 7 ranked Northwestern in Evanston, but ultimately fell short. Illinois won the doubles point in thrilling fashion but were swept in singles matches.

SCOUTING WISCONSIN

The Badgers are 2-3 on the year and coming off losses to Nebraska and Iowa last weekend. Their lone conference win comes from a 5-2 victory over Minnesota on February 14.

In Illinois' last ten matchups against Wisconsin, they hold a 9-1 record. Most recently the Illini took down the Badgers by a score of 4-0 on April 27, 2019.

SCOUTING MINNESOTA

The Gophers come into this weekend with an 0-3 record, with all matches coming in Big Ten play. Last weekend they fell to Iowa and Nebraska in two home matches.

In the last ten matchups between these squads, Illinois holds a 9-1 advantage. Their last meeting came on April 26, 2019 and resulted in a 4-0 Illinois win.
