Hi Illini Fans!

My name is Morgan Scivally and I am a sophomore from Kankakee, Illinois. I major in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences, and I am also a pitcher! This week was special for our team because it was our final week before games begin. I can't even believe it! We have been preparing for a whole year. We have been setting goals for a whole year. I have thought about this week every day for the past 11 months. It's game week Illini! My team and I have been pushing ourselves for the past several months, and I cannot wait to see us shine next week in Florida. This year will look a little different for us, considering we are only playing Big Ten teams, but I could not be more excited. For the past several weeks, we have been scrimmaging against one another, and I have seen so many good things that I cannot wait for our fans to finally see on the field against our Big Ten competitors. This year will also look different for us because we have a different perspective on not only the game, but on our lives as well. Last year, our season was taken from us in a second. We had no idea that our last game against Missouri was going to be our last game of the year. Now we know. Now we know that this season can end at any time, but I think this will only push us to play harder. We will never take another season for granted, and I cannot wait to show you guys how hard we have worked this past year. Be sure to watch our games this weekend in Florida!
