"The one thing I've learned about our team our team is [that] they care. They're motivated to win and they're very coachable. I think I've learned over the past couple weeks that they want this program to have sustained success even after they leave."

"Paul and I were together six of my seven years there [at Wisconsin]. There are some comparisons but there are also a lot of differences. The basic core value of run-play action is very similar to where we were but there are also a lot of unique, new things that pop out when we watch them on tape."

"Statistics are great, they're a great thing to reference, but the key ingredient is what worked Saturday [vs. Charlotte]. What we did on Saturday is what our offense is going to be greatly dedicated to this week."

"Vederian has been very impressive to me since day one. He just played his most complete game on Saturday. I think when the game needed to be taken over he did. The guys that got asked to take over in those big moments did that.... He is a professional already. If the world was full of more Vederian Lowes the world would be a lot better place."

On potentially getting 100th career win vs. Wisconsin...
"I do understand the significance of it. I get it, but when Coach Bielema gets his 100th win, it's when we deserve to win."
