CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -Â The Fighting Illini women's tennis team is set to finish the Fall 2021 tennis schedule with a trip to Knoxville, Tenn. for the Tennessee Hidden Dual this weekend, competing from Thursday, Oct. 28 to Saturday, Oct. 30.
The Orange and Blue will compete against Tennessee, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt in both singles and doubles competitions, with the Illini sending the full eight-athlete contingent to Knoxville.Â
Coming off a weekend at the ITA Midwest Super Regional that saw Kate Duong and Megan Heuser advance to the round of 16 in singles action and the doubles team of Kate Duong and Josie Frazier advance to the quarterfinals. This weekend's tournament will be the fourth and final event of the fall tennis season in preparation for the 2022 regular season.
