CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Illinois football game at Penn State will be broadcast on ABC on Oct. 23, the Big Ten conference office and television partners announced Monday. The game was previously scheduled as an 11 a.m. CT kickoff.

Illinois will travel to Happy Valley for the second straight year after ending the 2020 season at Penn State on Dec. 19, the day the Illini hired Bret Bielema as head coach.

Like Illinois, Penn State is on a bye this week and the Oct. 23 matchup will be the Nittany Lions' next game. Penn State is to a 5-1 start and is currently ranked No. 7 in the nation in the AP poll.
