CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois women's gymnastics announced their 2021 schedule on Monday afternoon. Illinois will compete in a nine-meet Big Ten-only regular season schedule.

Week 1 is non-conference, Weeks 2-6 are conference, Week 7 is the Big 5 meet, and Weeks 8-9 are non-conference for all schools.

At this time, no fans will be permitted at home meets due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Illinois will start their season on the road at Nebraska the weekend of Jan. 15 and then travel to Rutgers the weekend of Jan. 22. The first home meet will take place the weekend of Jan. 29 against Iowa.

The Illini will host Michigan the weekend of Feb. 5 before heading to State College for a meet with Penn State the weekend of Feb. 12. The Illini return to Huff Hall the weekend of Feb. 19 to compete against Michigan State.

Two Big Five meets will be held the during the weekend of Feb. 26. The locations of the meets are to be determined.

The Illini will then travel to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes for a second time on the weekend of March 5 before finishing the regular season in Champaign against Minnesota the weekend of March 12.

Big Ten Championships are scheduled to take place on March 20.
