Hey Illini Fans!

My name is Abby Ryniec and I am a freshman outfielder from Downers Grove, Illinois. I am majoring in Business, hoping to choose a focus in either finance or management for my future career after graduation. We have just completed our first week of practice back from winter break and it is very exciting. The team is ready to face any challenges COVID-19 may throw at us and we are ready for anyone or anything that stands in our way. I am very proud of our team and how we have been handling the challenges of the pandemic. We have not let it phase us and have continued to get better, mentally and physically. I am excited for what the future holds for this team during our upcoming season and am excited to see our hard work pay off. With that being said, I hope to see everyone either come out to watch our games or watching them from home! We can't wait for a fun but very different Illini softball season. Stay safe!
