KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fighting Illini Soccer has been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches as a recipient of the 2019-20 Team Academic Award. The Illini earned the award with a combined grade point average of 3.62. 

The recognition is given annually to teams across the country for exemplary performance in the classroom. Teams must have a minimum composite GPA of 3.0. Illinois has earned the Team Academic Award for 20 consecutive seasons.
