CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – With the state mandated order to use face coverings in public beginning May 1, the Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics will give out 1,500 bandana-type face coverings to residents of Champaign County. On Saturday, May 2 beginning at 12 p.m. CT, fans can pick up face coverings in the circle drive of the Bielfeldt Athletic Administration Building (1700 South Fourth St.), while supplies last.

Fans are asked to enter the driveway from the South, using South Fourth St. extended, entering off Windsor Rd. In order to serve the most people, we are asking cars to limit one face covering per person with a maximum of five face coverings per car. 

Process for pickup:

• Cars should enter South Fourth St. from Windsor Rd. 
• Cars should put a piece of paper in the passenger side windshield with the number of face coverings you are requesting.
• Limit of one face covering per person with a maximum of five face coverings per car.
• Athletics Department workers will place the number of face coverings on a table for the driver to pick up.

Face coverings are not medical grade.
