CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Jupiter's at the Crossing has announced it will host a watch party for the No. 4-seeded and No. 21-ranked Fighting Illini men's basketball Big Ten Tournament opening game on Friday, March 13, in Indianapolis. The Illini have a double bye, will play in Game 8 of the tournament and will face the winner of Northwestern/Minnesota vs. Iowa. Tip off is set for approximately 1:30 pm CT, or 25 minutes after the conclusion of the 11 a.m. CT game on Friday.
Fans can join other Illini basketball enthusiasts for an afternoon of food and fun. Jupiter's will air the game on their big screens and broadcast the game announcers through the audio system, on the second level of the restaurant. Jupiter's will open at 11:00 a.m. allowing fans to arrive for the first Big Ten Tournament game of the day and remain open all afternoon and evening for other game viewing.
Jupiter's will be offering Illini game day specials including pizza, appetizer and drink deals. Fans in attendance will be entered into drawings for Illini prize packs, drink specials and Nike gear.
Jupiter's at the Crossing is located at 2511 Village Green Place in Champaign and opens at 11 a.m. daily.
