Hello Illini Fans!
My name is Addy Jarvis, and I am a junior pitcher from Vienna, Ohio, majoring in molecular and cellular biology. This is just my second semester at the University of Illinois, but I feel right at home. As expected, the fall looked quite different this year, but our staff has done an amazing job keeping us safe so that we could continue working toward the 2021 spring season. As the semester winds down and the weather quickly turns the Illinois softball team is heading into our final week of fall practices.
Two weeks ago, we finished up full team practice with the Orange and Blue Series where the orange squad came out on top in a tight battle. Right now, we are in our individual practice segment where we get one on one instruction from our talented coaching staff. Not only have we been working hard on the field, but we have also been working very hard in the weight room.
We are very fortunate to attend a university that is able to provide us with the best resources possible to succeed on the field and in the classroom in such a time of such uncertainty. The obstacles we have had to overcome have only made us stronger, and I believe that when we return in the spring, we will be a force to be reckoned with. Team 22 is special, and we cannot wait to show you. Stay safe Illini fans,
I-L-L!
Addy Jarvis
