Taught by Spectra's Executive Chef Tim Hoch each week he provides a new take on classic pregame food. This week's meal: Apple Smoked Pork Chops.
Apple Smoked Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 6 thick bone-in pork chops
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 apple cider
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
How to Make It
Step 1
Season both sides of pork chops with the salt and pepper.
Step 2
Combine remaining ingredients together and pour over seasoned chops. Place in refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Remove chops from marinade and place on smoker rack. Smoke at 300 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cook until internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
