Illinois is ranked No. 24 in the latest Associated Press Top-25 Poll, released Monday morning. The Fighting Illini have won three straight and are 12-5 on the season and 4-2 in the Big Ten after a pair of victories last week at Wisconsin, 71-70, and at home over Rutgers, 54-51.
It is the first time the Fighting Illini have been ranked in the AP Poll since Dec. 1, 2014, when they checked in at No. 24, and it is the 445th time Illinois has been ranked dating back to the 1948-49 season according to Sports Reference.

The 24th-ranked Illini will be back on the court Saturday when Northwestern comes to State Farm Center for a 4 p.m. CT tip. Ticket are still available.
