CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Illinois baseball team closed fall ball with a 15-3 win over the Great Lake Canadians, a club team from Canada. The Fighting Illini finished 2-1 in its three-game exhibition fall schedule.Â
Jacob Campbell led Illinois with two doubles and a triple and Brody Harding had four RBIs, two on sac flies and two on ground outs. Illinois grabbed a 4-3 lead in the sixth and pulled away in the eighth with an RBI from Garrett McGowan and a three-RBI double with two outs by Justin Janas, before adding three more in the ninth and 10th innings.
