CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illinois baseball team hosted Indiana State on Saturday in a fall exhibition game at Illinois Field. The Illini took a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning, but the Sycamores prevailed 8-2.
Nathan Aide drove in Taylor Jackson for the game-tying run with a double in the seventh. Aide came around to score when Kellen Sarver grounded out to first. Sarver led Illinois with two hits in the contest to go along with an RBI and a stolen base.
