32 men and 32 women will participate in the mandatory mixed doubles competition and matches will be played as a six-game set with no additional scoring, single elimination, with the championship as an eight game pro-set. Singles will be played best two-of-three sets with no additional scoring, with a first match consolation bracket.
Seedings for singles will be determined by a players' Universal Tennis Ranking (UTR) from Sept. 23, while the seedings for mixed doubles will be determined by the combination of the two players' UTR from Sept. 23.
The men's and women's singles champions will earn an automatic bid into the Oracle ITA Fall National Championships in Newport Beach, Calif., from Nov. 6-10.
