CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Illinois baseball team will take on Indiana State at Illinois Field on Saturday in its first of two home exhibition games of the fall. The game starts at 12:15 p.m. CT after the teams take part in a combined Scout Day beginning at 9:20 a.m. CT.
Illinois is 1-0 this fall after beating Butler, 16-6, two weeks ago in Westfield, Indiana. Brody Harding had four hits to lead the Illini's offense.Â
The Fighting Illini finish fall exhibition action next Monday against the Great Lakes Canadians, a club team from Canada run by former Illini Chris Robinson. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT at Illinois Field.Â
