Media Day Photo Gallery | Training Camp Central

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois football team hosted dozens local and regional media outlets at Memorial Stadium on Tuesday for its annual on-campus Media Day.

Head coach Lovie Smith talked with the media for over 30 minutes before the team took to field for group photos, individual photos and media interviews.

Tuesday was on off day from practice. The Fighting Illini continue Training Camp Wednesday morning at the Campus Rec Fields with practice No. 5, where they'll strap on full pads for the first time this fall. The first 14 practices of training camp, through Saturday, Aug. 17, are free and open to the public.
