Illini fans are set for an exciting week ahead as several alumni are set to tee off in the U.S. Open this Thursday. Charlie Danielson, Luke Guthrie, Nick Hardy and Thomas Pieters will represent the Orange and Blue in the field after advancing through the sectional qualifying.
Practice rounds at Pebble Beach begin today (Monday), and continue through the opening round on Thursday.

Current Illini Michael Feagles is also set for an exciting weekend as he is set to take on his first Web.com Tour event at the Lincoln Land Championship presented by LRS. Held at Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, Illinois, Feagles received a sponsor exemption into the tournament field. Practice rounds for the event will be held Monday-Wednesday, with the opening round of play set for Thursday, June 13. Feagles will be joined in the field by former Illini Brian Campbell and Dylan Meyer.
Campbell is coming off of a successful weekend at the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation, as he shot a 7-under par 64 to close play at Thornblade Club and finish 16-under par for the rain-shortened tournament. Campbell tied for third overall, matching the highest finish of his season. He has earned four top-three finishes on the Web.com Tour in his career, and tallied 10 top-10 finishes so far. Campbell was joined in the field by Dylan Meyer and Luke Guthrie.
Fellow alumni Scott Langley was also in action over the weekend, as he took on the PGA TOUR's RBC Canadian Open. Langley closed play at 2-under par to tie for 50th in the field.
