CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Illinois baseball team hosts the annual Hickory River Bleacher Bum BBQ Friday night. The Illini are expecting a big crowd for free BBQ, beer sales, kid-friendly activities and a postgame fireworks show.

4:30 p.m. – Gates open
5:00 p.m. – Free Hickory River BBQ begins (first 500 fans)
5:00 p.m. – Beer and concession sales begin
5:00 p.m. – Free koozie giveaway begins at the promotions table
6:00 p.m. – First pitch vs. No. 19 Indiana
6:00 p.m. – Kids' activities begin in the grass area down the right field line (bounce house and face painting)
At the conclusion of the seventh inning - Beer and concession sales end

Where are the beer sales?
Beer is sold from the concession stand and not limited to a specific area in the ballpark.
· Valid ID is required for purchase. All guests must be 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
· A limit of two beers purchased at one time per legal ID.
· Outside drinks is not permitted at Illinois Field, except sealed water.
· Beer will be sold in aluminum cans and bottles. Recycling receptacles will be available around the facility.
