CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – A total of seven former Fighting Illini football players took part in Illinois' annual NFL Pro Day Monday morning, March 11, at the Illinois Football Performance Center and Irwin Indoor Practice Center in front of 29 NFL scouts.

The Illini started off with measurements and vertical leap testing inside the Performance Center before moving to the Irwin Indoor complex for speed an agility drills. After the drill testing, the Fighting Illini took part in position-specific drills on the turf at the Irwin Practice Facility. McLaughlin also kicked inside Memorial Stadium on the brisk, sunny afternoon. Many were also interviewed by scouts.
The 2019 NFL Draft will take place April 25-27 in Nashville, Tenn. A total of 23 Illini have been drafted in the last 10 years and 20 former Illini played in the NFL last season.
Put in a lot of work for this day.
