Iowa State Classic Full Results 

AMES, Iowa & FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Fighting Illini track & field closed out competition at the Iowa State Classic and the Tyson Invite hosted by Arkansas Saturday. Sophomore Rebecca Craddock led the Illini with a second place finish in the 3K Friday night at the Iowa State Classic, setting a new PR with a time of 9:30.97. The time is the sixth fastest in program history. 

Sophomore Devin Quinn qualified for the finals in Friday night's 60m dash at the Tyson Invite. Quinn went on to place third in the event with a time of 6.67. 

Additionally on Friday, junior Chisom Nwoko set a new season-best in the 400m, clocking a time of 53.77. Nwoko placed sixth in the event. Earlier Friday in the women's long jump, senior Sade' Hargrove set a new PR with a mark of 5.76 to place 12th. 

In Friday's men's pole vault at the Tyson Invite, the Illini placed two in the top five of the event. Redshirt junior Jacob LaRocca placed second with a mark of 5.03m, and junior Cooper Jazo placed fourth with a mark of 4.88m. 

Action picked back up Saturday afternoon at both meets. In Arkansas, Sophomore Ololade Ayoola set a PR in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.67m to tie for third in the event. In Saturday field events in Ames, junior Carolyn Nye tied for second in the pole vault, setting a new PR with a mark of 3.80m.

In the women's mile at Iowa State, all Illini runners set PR's in the event. Leading the way were freshman Madison Marasco and sophomore Mikaela Lucki, who each finished in the top-20. Marasco placed 14th with a new personal best of 4:50.26, and Lucki finished 17th with a PR time of 4:50.99. Other Illini who set PR's included freshmen Emma Milburn and Lauren Katz, and junior Grace Rogers. 

Next up, the Illini are scheduled for their final tune-ups before Big Ten Championships, with the EIU 2019 University of Illinois Track & Field Friday Night Special hosted by Eastern Illinois and the Alex Wilson Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on tap.
