
Illini To Send Two DMR Groups To Alex Wilson Invitational Saturday

Men's and women's distance medley relay groups to compete at Notre Dame.
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Fighting Illini Track & Field will send a men's and women's group to compete in the distance medley relay at the Alex Wilson Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Saturday, February 16. The women's DMR will begin at 10:30 a.m. CT, and the men's DMR will follow at 10:45 a.m. CT.
This is the UI's first time competing at the Alex Wilson Invitational since the 2014-15 indoor season. The Illini women's squad competing in the distance medley relay will be comprised of freshman Madison Marasco, junior Felicia Phillips, sophomore Mikaela Lucki and sophomore Rebecca Craddock. USTFCCCA top-25 ranked schools competing against Illinois include No. 12 Ohio State and No. 22 Wisconsin.
The men's group competing for the Orange and Blue in South Bend will include juniors Jesse Reiser and Joe Haight, senior Denis O'Callaghan and sophomore Jon Davis. Top-25 nationally-ranked opponents opposing the Illini in the nine-team field include No. 11 Wisconsin, No. 16 BYU and No. 19 Kansas.
Up next, the Illini will compete at Big Ten Championships hosted by University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Championships will take place Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23.
