CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Illinois Dugout Club's popular First Federal Hot Stove Banquet will feature guest speaker Buck Showalter on January 18 at the iHotel in Champaign. The event will begin at noon, prior to the Illinois men's basketball team hosting Northwestern at 4 p.m. CT at State Farm Center. 

Showalter is the former manager of the New York Yankees, Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers, and Baltimore Orioles. He was a three-time AL Manager of the Year (1994, 2004, 2014) and won 1,551 games as a major league manager.
