United Soccer Coaches Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fighting Illini Soccer has been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches today, as a recipient of the Team Academic Award. The Illini earn the award with a combined grade point average of 3.46. 

The recognition is given annually to teams across the country for exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year. Teams must have a minimum composite GPA of 3.0. Illinois has earned the Team Academic Award for 19 consecutive years.
