Nominate a Breast Cancer Fighter or Survivor
CHAMPAIGN – Fighting Illini women's basketball will host its annual Play 4Kay Pink Game Presented by WCIA and Health Alliance on Sunday, February 17 in a 2 p.m. matchup against the Michigan Wolverines. This season, the Illini Courtsiders are offering several different sponsorship packages for those wishing to join in the fight against breast cancer. All donations will go directly to the Mills Breast Cancer Institute and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Corporate sponsorships are available for $250 each, and include an in-game video board and public address announcement, company logo printed in the gameday program, in-game radio broadcast recognition and 10 tickets to Illinois' game against Michigan. Individual sponsorships are also available for $50, which include an in-game video board and public address announcement. To acquire a sponsorship please send corresponding checks to Erin McClafferty at 1700 South Fourth Street, Champaign, IL 61820. All checks should be made out to The Courtsiders.
Fans can also join in on the Courtsiders' silent jersey auction by bidding on pink Illinois women's basketball jerseys inside the Main West entrance of State Farm Center. Bidding will be open through Illinois' matchup against Northwestern on January 27. Fans unable to attend Illini home games can email courtsiders@gmail.com to place their bids. Jersey winners will be recognized on the court prior to the game on February 17.
On game day, Illinois will offer $3 tickets to fans who wear pink to the State Farm Center, the Kids Zone will also feature a card-making station for patients at Carle Cancer Center. During the game, UI will recognize nominated breast cancer fighters and survivors on the court. To nominate a breast cancer fighter or survivor, click here.
