CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Illinois baseball team will host two exhibition games this week at Illinois Field. Eastern Illinois visits Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT and Indiana State makes the trip Saturday at 12:15 p.m. CT. 

The NCAA passed a rule permitting Division I teams to play two fall exhibition games against outside competition that do not count against the team's spring 56-game limit. Previously, fall games counted against the team's limit. 

Both games are free for fans to attend. Format and innings of the games has not been announced. 

Wednesday vs. Eastern Illinois - 6 p.m. CT
Saturday vs. Indiana State - 12:15 p.m. CT
