Selections Release
Rankings: Singles | Doubles
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its selections for the 2018 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships, held in Pacific Palisades, California. Four Illini singles players, as well as three doubles pairs were selected to compete at the event, which will begin with pre-qualifying on September 29, and will conclude with the main draw running from October 4-7.

In addition to vying for the All-American national title, players will be competing to secure a berth into the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which takes place November 7-11, in Surprise, Arizona. Singles quarterfinalists, consolation singles champion and finalist, along with doubles semifinalists and consolation doubles champion and finalist advance to the end of fall national championship.
ITA Rankings
Four Illinois singles players and one doubles pair earned preseason national rankings, as announced by Oracle and the ITA on Tuesday.
The tandem of Daniela Pedraza Novak and Sascha Belaya checked in as the 30th ranked doubles pair, while Illini singles rankings include No. 49 Jaclyn Switkes, No. 69 Mia Rabinowitz, No. 93 Asuka Kawai and No. 117 Emilee Duong.
