Fighting Illini freshman Carolyn Waleski hails from Frankfort, Illinois. A 5-foot-10 guard, Waleski plans to study engineering at Illinois. She is a two-time All-State Honorable Mention and a 2018 All-State Third Team honoree. She made the 2018 IBCA All-Star Team and was a two-year varsity girl's basketball captain at Lincoln-Way East.
