CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illini fans will be able to get their first look at the No. 12 Illinois volleyball team with the annual Orange & Blue Scrimmage at Huff Hall on Saturday (August 18) at 7 p.m. CT.
The scrimmage is a ticketed event, however until during the regular season, all seating is general admission. All season ticket packages include a general admission ticket to the match. Admission is $8 to the general public, $4 for youth (12 and under), $4 per person for groups of 15 or more and free for Illinois students with their I-Card. To purchase a ticket in advance call 1-866-ILLINI-1, visit the Illinois Ticket Office or click HERE to buy online. Tickets will also be available for purchase on site from the Illinois Ticket Office trailer located outside the West entrance of Huff Hall beginning one hour prior to the match.
The Illini, who finished the first season under head coach Chris Tamas with a 23-11 overall record and a fifth-place finish in the Big Ten, returns 12 members from the 2017 squad, including American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Americans Jordyn Poulter and Ali Bastianelli, while welcoming in newcomers Ashlyn Fleming, Diana Brown and Taylor Kuper.
The Illini are set to open the 2018 season in Fort Collins, Colorado, for the Colorado State Tournament on August 24-25.
