
Football Training Camp Reaches Midpoint

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini reached the midpoint of Training Camp with practice No. 10 Tuesday morning at the Campus Recreation Fields. There are four more practices open to the public, culminating in Saturday's open practice at Memorial Stadium (3-5 p.m.) followed by Fan Appreciation Day on the field (5-6 p.m.).

"It all starts with the quarterbacks. If the quarterback doesn't have a sense of urgency, the other guys don't feel it. I tell the guys all the time, they have to sense it in your voice that we're in hurry-up mode." – on how the installation of his fast-paced offense is coming along.

The Fighting Illini return to practice Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. Wednesday's practice was originally scheduled for 3-5 p.m., but has moved to the morning. The practice is open to the public and will be held at the Campus Recreation Fields. The full schedule can be found at Training Camp Central.
