Training Camp Central | 2018 Tickets

The Fighting Illini football team and head coach Lovie Smith open 2018 training camp on Friday, Aug. 3, at the U of I Campus Recreation Fields, just blocks from Memorial Stadium. All of training camp, which runs until Aug. 18, will be open to the public and free to attend. 

Practice Location

Most practices will be held on the Campus Recreation Fields bordered by Florida Ave. and Goodwin Ave. in Urbana (MAP). The Aug. 18 practice be held inside Memorial Stadium. In the case of inclement weather, practice may be moved inside and closed to the public. Practice time and location updates will be posted to FightingIllini.com and on Twitter @IlliniFootball. 

Where to Park

Free parking will be available in campus lot F23 just south of the Florida Avenue Residence (FAR) Hall (entrance off of Florida Ave.). Parking is not allowed along Goodwin Ave. 

Post-Practice Autographs

Following each practice, coach Lovie Smith and Fighting Illini players will sign autographs briefly on their way off the field. 

Fan Appreciation Day

The University of Illinois football team will host its annual Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 18. The team will hold an open practice at Memorial Stadium from 3-5 p.m., followed by an on-field fan event from 5-6 p.m. The annual preseason event gives Illini fans a chance to get autographs, take photos and interact with their favorite players and coaches.
