COLUMBUS – The No. 6 Fighting Illini men's tennis team fell to the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes, 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Varsity Tennis Center. Illinois moves to 16-6 overall this season and 7-1 in Big Ten play.

After dropping the doubles point outside with losses on courts one and three, rain forced the match inside during singles action. Ohio State's No. 4-ranked Mikael Torpegaard defeated senior Aleks Vukic, 6-1, 6-2 on court one. No. 98 John McNally topped senior Aron Hiltzik, 6-3, 6-2 and freshman Caleb Chakravarthi fell on court six, 6-3, 6-4 as Ohio State sealed the match.

Up next, the Illini travel to University Park, Pennsylvania for an 11 am CT contest with the Penn State Nittany Lions on Sunday.
