CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois softball team's Big Ten opening-series at Purdue has been shifted due to the weekend's weather forecast in West Lafayette, Ind.
The Illini will now open conference action with a single game against the Boilermakers on Thursday (March 22) at 4 p.m. CT, before a doubleheader on Friday (March 23) beginning at 3 p.m., to wrap the series.
Prior to the Purdue series, Illinois continues its busy week with a trip to Edwardsville, Ill., to take on SIUE at 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday (March 21) at Cougar Field.
