Sunshine, warm weather, baseball, and the best teammates in college baseball...Not a bad way to spend Thanksgiving break. This past week has been one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. From getting the opportunity to work with young kids from the islands to having the opportunity to play against some great competition. I think my favorite part of the trip was "hiking" a 1,500-foot mountain with my teammates and getting the opportunity to see Curaçao from its highest point. This week will be something I never forget and it has made me even more proud to be an Illini.
This past week has been one of the most unbelievable experiences of my life. Getting the chance to be in Curaçao and Aruba with my brothers doing what we love is a dream come true. We had the opportunity to hike mountains, tour caves, swim in the clearest water I've ever seen, work with kids and play baseball. I love this game, I love this team and I love this school. ILL!
