The Illinois baseball team arrived Saturday in Curaçao after a long day of travel that started at 2:30 a.m. at Illinois Field. Illinois took a bus to Chicago's O'Hare Airport to fly to Charlotte before boarding a plane to Curaçao.

The Fighting Illini took batting practice at Tio Daou Ballpark before dinner and orientation at the field. The first game is scheduled for Sunday at 5:30 p.m. CT.
