» Jihad Ward, DE, Indianapolis Colts – Placed on IR Oct. 26 after suffering a knee injury in Indianapolis' week seven game against Buffalo. Ward had 3.0 sacks in six games with Indianapolis in 2018.

Retired Illini
» Vontae Davis, CB, Buffalo Bills– Retired from the NFL on Sept. 16 after playing one game with Buffalo in 2018. In 10 NFL seasons with the Dolphins, Colts and Bills, Davis played in 121 games (113 starts), made 394 tackles, had 97 passes defended and 22 interceptions. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in both 2014 and 2015.
