Kwong Named Volunteer Assistant Coach

URBANA, Ill. – Illinois women's tennis head coach Evan Clark announced the addition of former Illini All-Big Ten winner, Louise Kwong, to the Illini coaching staff on Friday morning. Kwong will serve as the volunteer assistant coach for the 2018 season.

"We are excited to have Louise working with our program," Clark said. "Lou understands that the University of Illinois is a special place and knows what this team can accomplish throughout the season. We are really looking forward to having her passion for the Illini on our side of the net."

The Toronto, Ontario native was a four-year letterwinner for the Orange and Blue from 2013-2017. A two-time All-Big Ten honoree, Kwong's 79-42 career doubles record sits at No. 7 in the Illinois record books. Kwong was also a three-time Academic All-Big Ten winner.
