CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — Freshman point guard Te'Jon Lucas got his first start and finished the game with six points and six assists while Michael Finke scored 17 points off the bench and led Illinois to a 76-64 win over Iowa Wednesday at State Farm Center.
Illinois got off to a quick 10-0 start in the first few minutes of the game and never relinquished the lead, maintaining a double-digit lead for nearly the entire game.
