The Illini have representation overseas this summer as incoming freshman, Peca Holešínská is playing for the Czech Republic at the 2016 FIBA U20 Women's European Championship in Podgorica, Montenegro.
Holešínská had a standout game, scoring 24 points and adding three rebounds to help the Czech Republic overtake Ukraine on July 9. She was 10-for-13 from the floor, knocking down 3-of-4 from distance in the contest.
Holešínská contributed seven points and six rebounds in the Czech Republic's loss to Hungary on July 10, also dishing two assists for the squad.
