Meyers Leonard's fourth NBA season was cut short by a shoulder injury. The big man averaged 8.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 61 games (10 starts), all career-highs, for the Trailblazers before injuring his shoulder in practice on March 16. He also shot 38 percent from the field, 45 percent from the field and 76 percent from the line this season. He had surgery on April 8 to repair the injured elbow. 

Leonard was the 11th overall pick by Portland in the 2012 NBA Draft after playing two seasons at Illinois.

The surgery went great and now the recovery process begins. Counting down the days till I'm back with my team. To all my fans, especially the one's in #RipCity, thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. I will bounce back from this! The hardest part for me right now is not being with my teammates. I wish more than anything I could still be playing alongside them and preparing for playoffs. Keep proving them wrong. #UsAgainstEverybody
