Hill's Junior Season | NABC All-District Teams | USBWA All-District Teams
Illinois junior guard Malcolm Hill has been named to two separate all-district basketball teams after his stellar junior season.
The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2015-16 NABC Division I All-District teams on March 25, which included Hill on the District 7 Second Team. Hill also was voted to the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) All-District V First Team earlier in March.
Hill put up huge numbers during his junior season in Orange and Blue, averaging 18.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, ranking third and ninth in the Big Ten, respectively. A second-team All-Big Ten selection and finalist for the Jerry West Award (nation's top shooting guard), Hill was one of two B1G players to lead his team in pts, rebs and asst in 2015-16. He became the first player in 126 years of Fighting Illini basketball to accumulate at least 600 points, 200 rebounds and 100 assists in a season.
