Fighting Illini women's basketball spent some time giving back to the community this week, as several of the team members stopped by Thomas Paine Elementary School for the International Walk to School event. 

The event was part of a national movement that started in 1997 and encourages the development of walking programs, new sidewalks, enforcement of unsafe driving behaviors in neighborhoods and communities.
