Champaign, Ill. - Stuff Huff returns for a 10th season on Friday, Aug. 28, to kick off the 2015 Fighting Illini volleyball season on a high note. No. 8 Illinois' season opener begins at 7 p.m. when the Illini host Louisville in the Illini Classic, but fan festivities begin at 4 p.m. in the grass area adjacent to Huff Hall. University of Illinois students are invited to bring out their best tailgating gear and celebrate the return of Illinois volleyball with the Illini Pride kickoff party, free food, giveaways, and an outdoor carnival.

In order for students to enjoy the outdoor festivities without surrendering a good seat to the match, Spike Squad will be giving out line cards on a first-come, first-served basis, and all students with line cards will march into Huff Hall together in order following the Stuff Huff pre-match activities. Any students wishing to enter Huff early without a line card will be asked to sit in regular general admission, as the primary student sections will be reserved for those with line cards until everyone is seated.

Line card distribution begins at 4 p.m. Illini Pride members, be sure to pick up your I-Pride card first (also available at Stuff Huff), as members will be given priority. Join I-Pride. Once you have picked up your line card, join members of the Spike Squad and your fellow students in tailgate festivities. Buffalo Wild Wings will be serving free wings, and a carnival complete with inflatables will be in full swing by 5 p.m. Put your name in a raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes, and free orange Illinois headbands will be distributed to the first 500 fans.

The Fighting Illini, ranked No. 8 in the AVCA Preseason Poll, return the majority of their starters from the 2014 NCAA Sweet 16 team while bringing in the No. 1 recruiting class in the country.
