Fighting Illini Ball Kid | Kid Captain

The University of Illinois is looking for new members to join both the Fighting Illini Soccer Ball Kids Program and the Kid Captains program for the 2015 home soccer season.

Being a Fighting Illini Ball Kid gives you the best seat in the house to watch your favorite Fighting Illini players while helping to make sure we give the players from the competing teams the best experience possible! Fighting Illini ball kids must be between 4th and 8th grade and must arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of the game and stay until the end of the contest.

It is the responsibility of Fighting Illini Ball Kids to retrieve and return balls in a timely manner. Those interested in becoming a Fighting Illini Ball Kid should register here.  Youth soccer team are also welcome to register, please contact Zacharia Litzelswope at zlitzels@illinois.edu to register your team.

Kids in 8th grade or younger can also register for the chance to be selected as a Kid Captain for one of Illinois soccer's ten home games this season. Kid Captains will meet the Fighting Illini Soccer team during warm-ups, be announced with the starting line-up and stand with the team for the national anthem. Each Kid Captain will also receive an autographed soccer ball signed by the team.

If you are interested in becoming an Illinois Soccer Kid Captain, please complete this form. Kid Captains will be selected and notified at least one week before the game. If you have any questions, please contact Beth Thomas at emthoms2@illinois.edu
