The end of the regular season is nearing for Jannelle Flaws, Kara Marbury and the Seattle Sounders. The two Illini have spent their summer making an impact in the W-League for Seattle.

The Sounders Women have won nine games this season to lead the Western Conference. The regular season will conclude on July 11 as the Sounders Women take on Arizona at 5 p.m.

Marbury has contributed one goal this season for the Sounders, while Flaws is second on the team for her six goals scored.  She has appeared in 10 games while tallying three assists also.

Flaws also stands out in the W-League as she ranks third overall for her 42 shots so far this season.

Flaws and Marbury will join the rest of the Illini back on campus this August as the team prepares for the upcoming 2015 season. Illinois will start the year off strong with exhibition matches against Virginia and Nortre Dame before opening the regular season at Illinois Soccer Stadium against Oakland on Aug. 21.
