Illinois sophomore Chatrice White is currently over in Russia playing for the United States in the 2015 FIUBA U19 World Championships. The U.S. is 2-0 in World Championship play thanks to help from White. Here what she has to say about her journey!

Hey Illini Fans, 

I'm coming to you from my hotel room in sunny Moscow, Russia.  Since we arrived super early Thursday morning, after a night long of flights, we have been practicing, eating and hanging around at the hotel...not a bad combination right?  

There are so many gyms in Moscow that we have been practicing at, ranging from a small YMCA court to a large arena.  It is really cool to think about all of the gyms around the world that I can say I've played in now.  

We had our first actual game as part of the FIBA tournament against Spain and we beat them by nearly 30 points! We continued that with a win over China! We are in a tough pool while we are here and now have a day off followed by a game against Egypt on Tuesday.  It's crazy to think that our month of traveling the world is nearly over, with just a little over a week left!
