Illini sophomore Chatrice White and USA Basketball matched up against incoming freshman Jaelyne Kirkpatrick and the Canadian squad this afternoon at the Spain U19 International Invitaitonal. The United States pulled ahead to a 95-40 lead over Canada in a game that saw all 11 team members score. White contributed five points in the match, also racking up three rebounds and a steal. Kirkpatrick also made an impact for her team, she tallied three points, an assist and a rebound in the contest.Â
Canada is set to face Australia at 11 a.m. CT tomorrow for it's final exhibition match before the 2015 U19 FIBA World Championships. The United States and Spain will tip off at 1:45 p.m. as well.Â
Today's contest marked the first for Kirkpatrick and the second for White. White is shooting 80-percent from the line for the USA and has recorded 13 points and seven rebounds in her two appearances.Â
