MELBOURNE, Australia - Following his debut season with the Illinois men's gymnastics team, Tyson Bull returned to his home country to compete at the Australian Gymnastics Championships dating from May 18-30 in Melbourne, Australia. Bull finished ninth overall in the all around, while also taking the high bar and pommel horse crowns.

Bull's score ranked ninth out of the 24 gymnasts competing after finishing with a combined all around score of 154.633. His preliminary tally was 77.183 and he posted a final mark of 77.450. Hailing from The Basin, Victoria, Bull won the pommel horse title with a combined score of 26.550. He took the high bar crown with a 26.400 over the pair of competitions.

Head coach Justin Spring shared, "Tyson's success at the Australian Championships is a great showing of his true potential and we look forward to his contributions to the team next season!"
